Usability Testing

Usability testing is the best way to evaluate and understand how real users experience your website or any application or any prototype. Unlike in-depth interviews or focus groups that attempt to get users to accurately self-report their own behavior or actions or preferences, a well-designed user test helps and assists in measuring actual performance on user friendliness and mission-critical tasks of any prototype.

User Experience Design (UXD) entails conducting user research exercises with intended users of a system. User test/ User research reveals users’ needs and preferences through user observations, one-on-one interviews, and creative activities that encourage users to express their emotions, motivations, likes, dislikes and underlying concepts and beliefs about the steps involved in task procedures. By understanding the human emotions, motivations, and beliefs that surround a task, a user interface can be designed and redesigned to accommodate and support user behaviors in a way that users will experience as natural and satisfying.

Typically, UX Design refers to the term User Experience Design, while UI Design stands for User Interface Design. UX and UI elements are crucial to a product and work closely together. But despite their professional relationship, the roles between themselves are quite different, referring to very different parts of the process and the design discipline.
